Mr. Downie began his formal association with Alex Downie & Sons Co. in 1976 as an Estimator and Project Manager.  He has worked in these capacities since then and also serves as Vice President of the Company.  Ted handles the construction needs for a group of local, long-term customers spanning the various industries of food processing, commercial office space, communications, healthcare, and banking.  Several of these clients have a continuous 30-40 year association with Alex Downie & Sons with the longest being 70 years.  Ted received a B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Ohio State University in 1971 and in 1975 earned a M.B.A. also from OSU.
